Wednesday January 22 2003 ...1.26am Our 8 year old champion fighter lost his battle with Leukaemia early this morning. Tim passed away peacefully at home with his family around him. We are so very proud of his strength, courage and character over the past 18 months. Sadly his body could take no more. He is now free of his disease and is soaring with the Angels. .

Tim Viergever was diagnosed with ALL T Cell Leukaemia in November 2001 at the age of seven.
This website is all about Tim and his battle with Leukaemia.
He hoped to have a Bone Marrow Transplant which may have given him a chance of cure. His older brother Matthew would be his bone marrow donor, he is a perfect 6/6 match.
Sadly on December 17th 2002 tests confirmed his Leukaemia was so aggressive and drug resistant that he will not be cured, and in a very short time this terrible cancer will take him from his family.
......Tim died in peace on January 22 2003.
